Carragher suggests Liverpool should also compete for Moises Caicedo
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has slammed his former club for extending a deal for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.
Liverpool made an offer of £45m but were rejected, with Southampton insisting they would not sell the player for less than £50m.
Carragher was unhappy with Liverpool’s position, which he felt should have moved on. If not filing as Southampton claims
The former England defender also suggested the Reds should compete with Chelsea to sign Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
“This is embarrassing. Liverpool have always been quick to close deals for years without any hassles,” Carragher tweeted.
“If you don’t think he’s worth 50 million, move on. If you really want him, pay. Not sure why Liverpool didn’t buy Caicedo, yes, it’s a lot of money, but Liverpool got big money after Jordan Henderson and Fabinho. Report from ufabet https://ufabet999.com
